Message from the Artistic director:
"Since becoming Juventas’ Artistic Director in the fall of 2014, I have been thrilled to continue building on the organization’s achievements, leading its spectacular group of pioneers into a strong artistic future.
Many exceptional early-career composers lack the necessary opportunities to advance; meanwhile, most audience members and leaders in the music industry have few chances to uncover today’s most promising up-and-comers. I believe it to be our responsibilities—as artists and consumers of art—to help those shaping our cultural legacy give a voice to our generation.
Juventas gives opportunities to brilliant emerging composers who may not otherwise find them by showcasing their music in instrumental performances, operas, and cross-disciplinary collaborative projects."
