This season, the Juventas New Music Ensemble presents a series of unique
multi-platform performances as we continue to champion new music by young composers. From a ballet collaboration examining the effect of the hacktivist group Anonymous, to an electro-acoustic solo performance by a core ensemble musician, to a world premiere English-language opera, the 2013-2014 season provides one-of-a-kind performances for those who love new music.
Next! Dominick DiOrio's world premiere opera, The Little Blue One.
This opera, with a libretto by Meghan Guidry, is a spectacular new work that explores the boundaries between reality and the supernatural through the eyes of a troubled teenager.

Now with more than 90 exhilarating performances under our belt (from 150 composers!), our 2013-2014 season includes our first ballet, a world premiere opera, and our Spotlight Series featuring core instrumentalists!
