          Kristen Battistelli

Kristen Battistelli currently works for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where she assists with finance, accounting, IT project/portfolio management, and strategy.  She holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from Ithaca College and a joint MBA/MS Finance degree from Boston College.  She is a member of the Project Management Institute, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and volunteers with Boston Cares.

Kristen grew up in a musical household and after learning the piano from her father, she became self-taught on the flute, later studying with Adrianne Greenbaum during high school.  She was a part of Trumbull High School’s award-winning marching band and the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Youth Orchestra prior to studying flute and piccolo with Georgetta Maiolo at Ithaca College, where she held Principal Second and Piccolo Chairs in various Concert/Symphony orchestras.  While at Boston College, Kristen assisted the Boston Symphony Orchestra in a unique internship that allowed her to apply and learn finance/budget skills at a music-related nonprofit.  She is currently an inactive performer but is thrilled to connect back with the music scene after a long hiatus while also giving back via Juventas!
