Three years ago, Juventas arrived on the new music scene to fill a critical niche: connecting audiences with the musical stories of composers at the dawn of their careers. Our growth over the past few years has led to increased musical, organizational, and financial needs.
For our fourth season, one element of our commitment to emerging composers is the use of larger venues. Several of last year's performances were at capacity, including the opera project, which will be reprised this spring.
We focus on producing concerts that our audience appreciates. Your gift gives strength to the musical dreams of upcoming composers and enhances their connection with you as an audience member. Since we remain an all-volunteer organization, a large part of your gift is directed towards program costs.

Volunteer Opportunities
Juventas is an all-volunteer organization. At the moment, we are looking for individuals to serve on our Board of Trustees and someone with public relations experience, although other skills are also welcomed.
As a volunteer, you will be assisting us in building the framework of an adventurous cultural organization. As a part of Boston's arts community, you will be in frequent contact with some of the best young composers and performers in the area. Our volunteers include professionals assisting with their fields of expertise, sharing our collective knowledge.
Meetings are usually Sunday evening, and the time commitment is flexible depending on your availability. Volunteers generally work on projects independently, presenting their work to the administration as a whole at the meetings and/or through our online collaboration system.
